FINALLY got around to trying one of Richmond’s top staples — @perlysrichmond.

I’ve been hearing people rave about Perly’s ever since we moved out here about 4 years ago, and now I know why! Such a great experience all around — from the staff to the food to the ambience.

- POTATO LATKES: 7.6/10 - needed salt, but otherwise delicious
- SCHLUBBY FRIES: 8.6/10 - perfectly loaded fries
- SHPRINGEN KATZ!: 7.8/10 - a bit dry, but good flavors
- SHAPIRO SCHNITZEL: 8.7/10 - mmmm this realllllly hit
- SUB SNYDERMAN: 8.3/10 - wished there was a bit more horseradish sauce, but still very good
- RACHEL: 8.8/10 - saucy and delicious
- HOUSE MOCKTAIL: 9.0/10 - not on menu, you gotta ask, but they can throw something together; and this was reallllly good
- CHOCOLATE BABKA: 9.4/10 - one of the highest scores we’ve ever given a menu item; absolutely incredible
